Taste Italian Kitchen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join the opening management team at our new Chelsea, Alabama location. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to lead the front-of-house team, deliver an exceptional guest experience and establish the service culture for Taste Chelsea. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, developing people and creating an environment where both guests and team members feel genuinely welcomed.

The ideal candidate will have:

Restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant environment Strong knowledge of front-of-house service and restaurant operations Proven ability to train, coach and motivate team members A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to remain calm, professional and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment Experience with scheduling, labor management and restaurant systems Opening experience is a plus A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead by example Key responsibilities include: Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations Help recruit, train and develop the front-of-house team Lead shifts and maintain Taste's standards for hospitality and service Coach team members and provide ongoing feedback and development Support scheduling and labor management Ensure restaurant cleanliness, organization and readiness Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and hospitality Partner with kitchen leadership to create smooth, efficient service Help establish a positive and accountable team culture Support opening activities and continued growth of the Chelsea location What makes this opportunity unique: Opportunity to join the opening management team Ability to help build the team and service culture from the beginning Established restaurant concept with continued growth ahead Direct access to senior restaurant leadership Opportunity for professional advancement within a growing restaurant group Competitive salary, bonus potential and benefits Selected candidates must be available to complete approximately three weeks of training at Taste Italian Kitchen in Ridgeland, Mississippi prior to the Chelsea opening.
