Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Manager who is interested in building a long-term career with our restaurant group. This position is more than simply managing daily restaurant operations. The Assistant Manager will work closely with ownership and management to support multiple restaurants within our group , participate in restaurant events and food shows, and help improve overall operations, team performance, and guest experience. We are looking for someone who brings strong management skills, professionalism, leadership, and a positive mindset — someone who wants to grow together with our team and take on greater responsibilities over time. Our Huntsville-area restaurant is located in Madison, Alabama , and our goal is to provide great food, outstanding hospitality, and a positive environment for both our guests and our team members.

Growing together as a team Maintaining strong work ethics and professionalism Developing future leaders Creating opportunities for professional growth Building a positive and accountable workplace Assistant Manager ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Operations & Management Work closely with the Owner and Management Team on restaurant operations, sales, labor, and overall performance Assist with the management and operation of multiple restaurants within our restaurant group Support managers and team members across different restaurant locations as needed Help maintain operational standards, service quality, food quality, cleanliness, and team performance Assist with scheduling, training, employee development, and daily management responsibilities Monitor restaurant performance and help identify opportunities for operational improvement Communicate with Franchise HQ regarding general restaurant operations and franchise standards Assist with daily closing procedures, cash management, reports, and administrative responsibilities Team Leadership Lead team members professionally and respectfully Help train, coach, and develop employees Maintain strong communication between ownership, management, and team members Help create a positive, productive, and accountable work environment Resolve guest and employee concerns professionally Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, cleanliness, and work ethic Events & Business Development Participate in and help coordinate restaurant events, Food Shows, promotional events, catering opportunities, and community events Represent our restaurant group professionally at outside events Assist ownership and management with new restaurant initiatives, promotions, and operational projects Support future growth and expansion of the restaurant group Requirements Requirement #1: Bilingual communication skills preferred — English & Korean OR English & Spanish Requirement #2: Background check required Requirement #3: Drug test required Requirement #4: Food Manager Certification required (Food Manager Certificate — not Food Handler Certificate) Requirement #5: Strong restaurant management, leadership, and organizational skills Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Intensive Management Training The selected candidate will receive approximately one month of intensive hands-on training covering: Restaurant operations

management Employee training and supervision Customer service and guest recovery Food safety and sanitation standards Inventory and cost control Scheduling and labor management Daily closing and administrative procedures Franchise operational standards Management communication and reporting The goal of this training is to prepare the Assistant Manager to confidently support both the individual restaurant and broader restaurant group operations. Schedule This is a restaurant management position and requires scheduling flexibility. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Please note:
This is NOT a Food Handler or ServSafe Food Handler Certificate. A Food Manager Certification is required.
