ASSISTANT MANAGER / BREAKFAST LINE COOK A PATH TO MANAGEMENT AND POTENTIAL FUTURE PARTNERSHIP

$38,000-$44,000 per year, depending on experience b. simple Breakfast 220 S. Montezuma Street, Prescott, Arizona This is more than a restaurant management job. We are looking for the right person to grow with b. simple, develop into a restaurant manager, and potentially become part of our long-term expansion as an owner-partner. b. simple Breakfast is a busy, independently owned scratch kitchen located on Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott. We are hiring a hands-on Assistant Manager who is an experienced breakfast cook and wants the opportunity to develop into a restaurant manager—and potentially an owner-partner in a future b. simple location. This is not an office-only management position. You will work alongside the team, cook on the line, learn every part of the operation, and train directly under our current manager. The right candidate must be dependable, hardworking, calm under pressure, and capable of earning the respect of the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Cook breakfast on a fast-paced line Prepare eggs consistently in multiple styles Follow b. simple recipes, portions, and presentation standards Help prepare our made-from-scratch menu items Maintain food quality, cleanliness, organization, and consistency Help lead, train, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house employees Assist with scheduling and daily staffing decisions Learn food ordering, inventory control, receiving, and cost management Help manage customer concerns professionally Support the current manager with daily restaurant operations Learn the complete b. simple operating system and prepare to step into the manager role

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong breakfast line-cooking experience Proficiency with eggs and high-volume breakfast service Experience working with food made from scratch Restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred Ability to follow established recipes and systems consistently Strong communication and people-management skills Dependability, maturity, and personal accountability A team-first attitude and willingness to work wherever needed Ability to stay organized and make sound decisions during busy service A genuine desire to learn the business and build a long-term career

COMPENSATION

Starting salary of $38,000-$44,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The person hired for this position will train under our current manager with the goal of eventually taking over the manager role at our Prescott restaurant.
