Wooddale Village is a premier Independent Living retirement community dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences and outstanding customer service to our residents. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and service-focused Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house dining team. Position Summary The Dining Room Manager oversees all front-of-house dining operations, supervises servers, hosts and dining room staff, partners with the Executive Chef and Executive Director, and ensures an exceptional dining experience for residents. Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop dining room staff.
- Create employee schedules while managing labor costs and minimizing overtime.
- Ensure exceptional customer service.
- Train staff on service standards and hospitality.
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and presentation.
- Coordinate daily meal service and special events.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Address resident concerns promptly.
- Partner with the Executive Chef on daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications
- Three or more years of restaurant, hospitality, hotel, country club, or senior living dining management experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Senior living experience preferred. Benefits
