Job Description

No Vacancy Cocktails is seeking an experienced, hands-on Bar Manager/Bartender to oversee daily operations and lead our team. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable bartender, a dependable leader, and committed to delivering excellent drinks, food, and customer service. Experience in an upscale cocktail bar, lounge, or service-focused restaurant is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily opening and closing procedures Create and maintain employee schedules Complete accurate daily operational reports Manage alcohol, food, and supply orders Maintain proper inventory levels and control product waste Lead the bar program and maintain drink quality and consistency Ensure bartenders remain current on recipes, training, service standards, and responsible alcohol service Supervise staff and hold the team accountable Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and customer service Resolve customer and employee concerns professionally Work scheduled bartending shifts and assist the team during busy periods
Qualifications:
Previous bar or restaurant management experience required Strong bartending knowledge and experience required Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills Dependable, professional, and comfortable holding employees accountable Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of inventory, ordering, scheduling, and daily reporting California RBS certification and Food Handler Card preferred
