Full Job Description The Role:

Broken Yolk Cafe is seeking a Restaurant Manager who has a passion for amazing food and hospitality. The role will be for our Buena Park and future Orange County locations and will be accountable for leading and engaging restaurant team members in creating an exception culinary and service experience. They are responsible for the financial health and profitability as well as for driving a culture of excellence and creating strategic plans to build sales.

Responsibilities:

Commitment to creating the most compelling guest experience possible. Provides overall management guidance to the other managers in the restaurant. Ensure company values are being upheld to create a thriving company culture. Manages general restaurant day to day operations Drives sales and executes sales building initiatives Responsible for all food and beverage quality, service, and cleanliness standards within the restaurant Responsible for monthly Profit and Loss statement results and required action Work with General Manager to recruit, hire, train and retain high quality team members and leadership. Work with marketing department on creating and executing marketing initiatives and successful events / activations. Conducts performance evaluations and recommend promotions or corrective actions where appropriate. Ensures that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed. Responds to guest concerns, both written and verbal, with the ability to creatively solve problems.

Requirements:

Prior Restaurant Manager experience Excellent people management skills, including resolving conflict, coaching and developing, promoting teamwork, and performance management Willingness to learn and accommodate industry changes and company directives Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing, and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot, cold and/or physically demanding. Must also have the ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds. Position could require occasional travel that may consist of driving for a period of one or more days therein requiring one or more overnight stays; notice of travel may be given with very short notice. Position requires occasional training that may take place on or off-site, by phone and/or online.
