About the role We are seeking a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to support operations at our Cupertino or Milpitas location . You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations, support and develop team members, and maintain O2 Valley's standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day front- and back-of-house operations Coordinate staff schedules and support shift coverage Coach, train, and onboard team members Assist with hiring and interviewing new employees Address guest concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction Monitor inventory, supplies, and food-quality standards Support opening and closing procedures Ensure compliance with cleanliness, food-safety, and workplace standards Collaborate with management on operational improvements and promotions Requirements Fluent Mandarin is required Weekend availability is required Available to work 5 days per week Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment Restaurant, hospitality, or other people-management experience preferred Familiarity with food safety, POS systems, inventory, and cash handling is a plus Availability for evenings and holidays as needed Location O2 Valley — Cupertino or Milpitas, CA This is a full-time, on-site position.
