Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and drive the restaurant's profitability. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff scheduling Supervise and train team members on food preparation, customer service, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and food safety protocols Oversee food handling, food production, and kitchen management to ensure quality standards are met consistently Monitor inventory control and conduct regular stock checks to minimize waste and optimize food costs Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end Support staff training initiatives, including interviewing new team members and conducting performance evaluations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety management and sanitation standards Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and motivation Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and culinary operations Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; adept at cash handling and transaction processing Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams, managing shifts, and training staff Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, team training, and customer interactions Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash reconciliation and inventory calculations Experience with casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus Strong understanding of hospitality management principles including budgeting, profit analysis, and cost control Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high service standards Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences!
