We're seeking an energetic and motivated Fast Food Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and lead a team of dedicated staff. In this role, you will manage food preparation, maintain high standards of food safety, handle cash and POS transactions, and drive operational excellence during your shift. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service. Lead, motivate, and train team members on food preparation, food safety protocols, POS systems, and customer service standards. Oversee food production processes, including cooking, food handling, inventory control, and ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage cash handling procedures accurately while operating POS systems; reconcile cash drawers at shift end. Monitor food safety compliance by implementing proper sanitation practices and adhering to health regulations. Conduct staff training sessions on food management, kitchen procedures, and hospitality best practices; assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for operational improvement; support budgeting efforts for the shift. Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with strong supervisory skills. Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment; previous management or assistant manager experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory control, food production processes, and hospitality management principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and manage conflict professionally. Basic math skills for cash reconciliation, order accuracy, and profit analysis.
