$21.00•$25.00 per hour At Jersey Mike's, we believe in serving the highest quality fresh subs while providing an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for an energetic, motivated, and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join our team in Manteca, CA. As an Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the restaurant, helping to ensure outstanding service, operational excellence, and a positive team culture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with restaurant leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager with overseeing daily restaurant operations Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of staff Manage inventory, ordering, and labor costs Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively Open and close the restaurant as needed Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant management or leadership experience required Jersey Mike's experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Excellent customer service skills Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
