Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and lead the charge in delivering exceptional dining experiences! As an integral part of our restaurant leadership, you will oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts Supervise and motivate staff members, including training new team members and conducting ongoing development programs Oversee food preparation processes to maintain high quality standards and food safety compliance Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate food ordering to minimize waste and control costs Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Ensure adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising team performance, and resolving customer concerns promptly Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Familiarity with POS systems, experience with cash handling is essential Knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and manage teams effectively Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, customer interactions, and staff training sessions Basic math skills for budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and transaction reconciliation Experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Join us to lead with energy, inspire your team, and create memorable dining experiences!
