We're a busy family with two young boys, ages almost 2 and 3, looking for a warm, proactive and highly organized Family Assistant / Household Manager to become an extra set of hands in our home. The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday, approximately 1-6 PM, totaling around 20-25 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional weekend hours if desired. Because both parents are business owners with flexible and occasionally changing schedules, we'd especially love to find someone who lives nearby and has some flexibility when needed. This is a true hybrid role, with a heavier emphasis on household support than traditional nannying.

Responsibilities may include:

Preschool pickup and afternoon care as needed Playing with the boys, helping with meals, activities and occasional bath time Family laundry and linens Kitchen cleanup, dishes and general household resetting Organization and keeping the home tidy and well maintained Light meal prep and helping keep the kitchen stocked Grocery shopping, returns and household errands Keeping track of household supplies and helping things run smoothly day to day Our ideal person genuinely enjoys taking care of a home. You might be someone who loves organizing a pantry, is always discovering a new cleaning or organization hack, feels comfortable in the kitchen, notices when something needs to be restocked or reset, and takes pride in creating an orderly, welcoming home. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with toddlers, dependable, energetic, detail-oriented and able to take initiative without needing a lot of direction. A clean driving record and non-smoking are required. We'd like to schedule a few paid trial days in September, with an official start date of September 28.
