This role focuses on maintaining efficient service, supporting employees, assisting guests, monitoring daily operations, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities Lead, support, and coordinate restaurant team members Help organize staff schedules, assignments, and daily workflow Monitor customer service and address routine guest concerns professionally Support order accuracy, service quality, and overall guest experience Assist with staff training, onboarding, and day-to-day coaching Monitor inventory, supplies, and restocking needs Help maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work areas Support cash handling, POS procedures, and daily operational records Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth service Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures Assist with opening and closing responsibilities Communicate operational needs and important issues to restaurant leadership Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, food-service, or customer-service experience Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach Reliable, responsible, and able to make sound decisions Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Able to prioritize multiple tasks during busy service periods Familiarity with POS systems, restaurant procedures, and inventory is helpful Ability to work effectively with both front- and back-of-house team members Benefits Management training and onboarding Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities to develop leadership and restaurant operations skills Flexible scheduling may vary by position Employee benefits and perks may vary by location and employment status About the Company Z Garden Mediterranean Cuisine provides a welcoming restaurant environment centered on Mediterranean-inspired food, attentive customer service, and efficient daily operations.
