Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Store Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Woodland Hills, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on restaurant leader with fast food or quick service restaurant management experience, strong team-building skills, and the ability to run a high-volume operation with consistency and professionalism. The Restaurant Store Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and develop team members, manage labor and inventory, maintain food safety and compliance standards, and ensure guests receive fast, friendly, high-quality service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, labor control, inventory, ordering, cash handling, and daily reporting.
- Recruit, interview, hire, coach, and develop crew members, leads, and assistant managers while addressing performance issues professionally.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, security, labor law, OSHA, and company policy compliance across all areas of the restaurant.
- Monitor guest experience standards, resolve customer concerns, support service speed, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Control food, beverage, supply, and labor costs while supporting sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Oversee equipment upkeep, safety documentation, training records, personnel files, and required restaurant audits. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule requirement: Must be willing to work weekends. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including labor, inventory, cash handling, reporting, and guest service execution.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and staff development.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, workplace safety, labor regulations, and company operating standards.
- Drive profitability by controlling costs, improving service quality, and resolving operational issues quickly.
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fast food or quick service restaurant operations.
- Ability to supervise and direct the work of two or more employees on a regular basis.
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to manage employee and customer situations professionally.
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, cash reconciliation, register audits, and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to communicate in English through speaking, reading, and writing.
- Ability to complete required management training and restaurant operations testing.
- Professional attitude with a high standard for quality, attendance, appearance, teamwork, and guest service.
- Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws. Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- Experience with an established fast food chain is preferred.
- Drive-thru restaurant experience is a plus.
