Chef Thomas Keller's Yountville restaurant, Ad Hoc, is seeking enthusiastic and capable individuals who are passionate about food , beverage and hospitality to join the team as a General Manager . Opened in 2006 and originally intended as a temporary concept, Ad Hoc presents the American comfort food of Chef Keller's childhood in a casual dining setting. The restaurant's daily-changing four-course menu is served family-style, capturing the conviviality of home. What We're Looking For 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a similar, chef-driven environment Strong operational and financial acumen, with an eye for detail and consistency A deep interest in service and hospitality as a craft Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills A desire to learn, mentor others, and contribute beyond your individual role Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, chefs, and service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management. Foster team engagement through coaching, development programs, and career growth opportunities. Financial & Business Performance Drive profitability while maintaining high-quality service by managing budgets, cost controls, and revenue goals. Collaborate with the Finance team to forecast sales, control labor costs, and manage inventory. Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Guest Experience & Brand Integrity Uphold the concept of Ad Hoc and its brand standards. Chef Keller's collection of restaurants is founded on a culture of mentorship and provides a solid foundation of skills to support our profession.
