Job Description
FOH Manager
- Job Description Simple Eatery is hiring for a FOH Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Train and manage FOH staff including shift leads, servers and bussers
- Ensure all FOH shifts are properly staffed & work with GM on schedule
- Compliance with nutrition & sanitation regulations
- Control labor and food costs based on goals set by GM and Owner
- Create a culture of a positive work environment with coworkers
- Work with the Kitchen manager and BOH shift leaders to maintain a positive work environment between BOH and FOH
- Execute and maintain cleaning & maintenance schedules for front of house
- Assist in marketing, social media, special events & promotions
- Learn to maintain POS (pricing, buttons, layout)
- Execute restaurants policies and procedures
- Provide and train staff to provide a high level of customer service for all guests
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies including alcohol ordering
- Address customer and staff concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Address areas of improvement in the restaurant in a timely and effective manner
Requirements:
- Work varied schedules, average 40 hours per week (weekends & some holidays)
- Proven working experience as a trainer
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- Strong communication, team building and leadership skills
- Keep up with dining & customer trends and best practices
- Cover open shifts in the FOH as needed to ensure FOH is properly staffed
Compensation:
Base Hourly Wage:
$20- $24/hour (eligible for overtime)
Tips:
This position is tipped out $8- $14/hour on average
