This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food service, customer satisfaction, and restaurant management. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in food service environments, including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service settings. As a Front of House Manager, you will be the face of our establishment, inspiring your team to deliver memorable experiences while efficiently managing restaurant operations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service. Oversee shift management, including scheduling, staffing levels, and task delegation to optimize efficiency. Train and develop team members on food handling, customer service standards, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist with food preparation when necessary to support kitchen operations. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at the end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant environment in compliance with health regulations. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry; casual dining or fine dining experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation processes, food safety standards, and kitchen management principles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, interviewing, and team management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in shift management, inventory control, budgeting, and food production is highly desirable.
