Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Support inventory control processes by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and managing food safety standards. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction management. Train and mentor staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling techniques, and customer service excellence to foster a high-performing team. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods in both quick service and fine dining environments. Collaborate with management on budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control initiatives to maximize restaurant profitability. Lead by example in maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment while promoting teamwork, hospitality standards, and positive guest interactions. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing food production in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling procedures. Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience within quick service or casual dining restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety management (including HACCP standards), and kitchen safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Basic math skills for managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and performing cost calculations. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
