In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining efficient workflow, and fostering a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our food service operations, uphold food safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Duties Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices Oversee POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, ensure adherence to food safety protocols, and promote excellent customer service Coordinate shift management by scheduling team members, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operational flow during busy hours Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize operational efficiency and support budgeting efforts Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management, staff training, interviewing, and performance development Excellent communication skills suited for managerial roles in restaurant management and hospitality teams Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
