We're an industry leader for craft beer in Colorado, and Social Dough brings that same quality and creativity to our rotating menu of seasonal, local, wood-fired pizzas. This role is about people as much as it's about pizza. We're looking for someone who can build a kitchen culture rooted in kindness, accountability, and mutual respect, someone the team wants to work hard for, not just because they have to. What We're Looking For Previous kitchen management or lead line experience (2+ years preferred) A genuine people-first leadership style, patient, fair, and kind, even when things get busy Strong communication skills and the ability to give direction clearly and constructively A track record of building trust and morale within a team Comfort giving feedback, coaching underperformance, and recognizing good work Attention to detail and high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation Ability to stay calm and lead by example in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and inventory management skills Open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds Comfort working on a food trailer outdoors, rain or shine Duties Include Team Leadership & Culture Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff, setting the tone for a positive, respectful work environment Create and manage prep lists, schedules, and daily assignments for the kitchen team Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help staff grow and succeed Address performance or conduct issues promptly, fairly, and with compassion Foster open communication between kitchen staff and management Kitchen Operations Ensure recipes, portioning, and presentation standards are consistently met Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across the kitchen and trailer Oversee ingredient ordering, inventory tracking, and vendor relationships Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed Step in on the line during peak periods to support the team Collaboration Report directly to the General Manager on staffing, inventory, and operational needs Partner with the GM on menu planning, cost control, and scheduling Represent the kitchen team's needs and ideas to leadership
