Bar Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Bar Manager for our bar, kitchen, and live music venue. This role combines front-of-house leadership with bartending responsibilities and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage staff, maintain customer service standards, oversee bar operations, and help grow the business while also working behind the bar during shifts. Responsibilities Management & Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar, kitchen, and live entertainment venue Schedule and manage bartenders, servers, security, kitchen staff, and support staff Maintain a positive, professional workplace culture Ensure excellent customer service and guest experience Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and liquor regulations Assist ownership with sales growth, promotions, and event planning Manage cash handling, nightly closeouts, and labor controls Coordinate live music nights and entertainment operations Bartending Duties Bartend during scheduled shifts and high-volume events Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly Engage with customers and help build repeat business Monitor intoxication levels and enforce responsible alcohol service practices Maintain a clean and organized bar area Support staff during busy shifts and lead by example Qualifications Previous experience as a Bar Manager, General Manager, or high-volume bartender Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing staff schedules and operations Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of liquor laws, inventory management, and cash handling Experience with live music venues or entertainment operations is a plus Availability for nights, weekends, and late hours Reliable, organized, and team-oriented Preferred Experience Sports bar or live music venue experience Experience with food service operations Knowledge of social media or event promotion Familiarity with POS systems and labor management Compensation Competitive salary and/or hourly pay based on experience Tips Performance incentives available for the right candidate To apply send resume and experience information via email/message.
