This hands-on leader supports daily service, develops team members, maintains service standards, and partners with culinary and community teams to create a welcoming dining experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations across multiple dining venues, ensuring readiness, smooth service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead, schedule, train, and coach servers, hosts, bartenders, and other dining room team members as applicable.
  • Set clear expectations for hospitality, professionalism, communication, appearance, and resident engagement.
  • Respond promptly and thoughtfully to resident and guest questions, concerns, and service-recovery needs.
  • Coordinate with culinary leadership on reservations, pacing, menu changes, special requests, and service timing.
  • Support special events, private functions, seasonal programming, and community-wide dining initiatives.
  • Monitor staffing, supplies, cleanliness, opening and closing procedures, and overall operational readiness.
  • Help ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service where applicable, and community policies.
  • Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and the resident dining experience. Qualifications
  • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, dining room, or food service supervision.
  • Strong customer-service instincts and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, organize service, and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Excellent communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a multi-venue environment with changing service needs.
  • Food safety and service certifications as required; willingness to obtain any required credentials.
