Hourly Manager Pay:

$28 per hour Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is looking for an experienced, hands-on Pizza Manager to join our team. This is an active kitchen leadership position for someone who understands that great management starts with knowing the work firsthand. About the Role As a Pizza Manager, you will work directly in the Pepe's kitchen to learn our pizza, our standards, and our way of doing things. You will spend meaningful time alongside our cooks. Your ability to step into the kitchen, contribute, lead by example, and earn the respect of the team is essential. You will help oversee daily kitchen operations while maintaining the quality, consistency, and standards that Frank Pepe's is known for. Responsibilities Work hands-on in the kitchen and learn Pepe's pizza-making process and standards. Lead and support the kitchen team during service. Help maintain consistent food quality, preparation, and presentation. Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures are followed. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Support training and development of kitchen staff. Help manage kitchen flow and staffing during busy periods. Lead by example and remain actively involved in service. Address operational challenges professionally and efficiently. Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen environment. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience is required. Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant kitchen is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and high-volume service. Comfortable working on the line and performing hands-on kitchen duties. Ability to lead a team while earning the respect of experienced cooks. Strong communication and organizational skills. Professional, dependable, and able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn Pepe's specific pizza-making techniques and standards. Must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
