Job Description

Do you love seafood? we do too! New England Fish Market & Restaurant in Jensen Beach, FL is seeking a new Kitchen Manager to help steer an already steady ship. must have an above average understanding of seafood products and procedures as well as a passion for seafood to fully utilize the constant rotation of new and exciting fish, shell fish and other creatures from the deep. Oversee food service compliance while ensuring exceptional quality and productivity by effectively scheduling and coordinating kitchen staff. Ensure recipe consistency and adherence to company standards while showcasing culinary creativity for rotating specials. Drive guest satisfaction through production and putting food quality first. Complete weekly food orders, prepare meals daily as needed, and prepare schedules. Build a positive workplace culture by training employees in safety protocols, food handling, and kitchen cleanliness, while applying company policies fairly and consistently. Collaborate with Market staff to ensure proper communication regarding new product arrivals and receiving of goods. Participate in training, staff scheduling and task delegation. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years cooking experience with progressive responsibility in a restaurant, hotel or high volume cooking environment. Minimum 2 year supervisory and leadership experience Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Ability to work flexible schedule as the needs of the dining program change.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
