Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Daily Floor Operations:
Oversee the entire dining room and service flow during high-volume shifts. Ensure smooth seating, table rotations, reservations management, and pacing to maintain an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced waterfront setting.Staff Supervision & Development:
Directly manage, coach, and motivate servers, hosts, bussers, runners, and other FOH team members. Handle scheduling, training, performance feedback, and shift coverage while maintaining high service standards.Guest Experience & Issue Resolution:
Greet and engage guests personally (especially VIPs or those with waterfront views), handle complaints, special requests, and ensure personalized, upscale service. Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere aligned with the restaurant s popular reputation.Service Standards & Coordination:
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and management to ensure timely food/beverage delivery, quality control, and seamless operations. Monitor cleanliness, ambiance (lighting, music, setup), and compliance with health/safety standards.Revenue & Operational Efficiency:
Drive sales through upselling awareness, manage labor costs, handle POS functions (comps, voids, promos), cash handling, and closing duties. Support inventory, special events, and peak-period adjustments (e.g., busy tourist seasons or waterfront events).Additional Duties:
Assist with opening/closing procedures, staff meetings, event planning, and reporting to the General Manager or ownership.
