This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and facilitate engaging group sessions that promote mental health, behavioral growth, and overall well-being. As a vital member of our organization, you will work collaboratively with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, to deliver evidence-based interventions and support services. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational groups, and support groups across various settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. Develop and implement tailored session plans based on individual and group needs, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, case management, and follow-up services, ensuring seamless integration of mental health and behavioral health interventions. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management strategies, ensuring participant safety at all times. Maintain meticulous medical and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including detailed documentation of patient care, progress notes, and medical terminology. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling and group sessions, expanding access to services for diverse populations. Engage in clinical research and data collection initiatives to evaluate program effectiveness and improve service delivery. Apply ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding for billing, documentation, and reporting purposes. Provide specialized support for populations with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, chronic pain, and gender issues, ensuring culturally competent and trauma-informed care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in social work, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and behavioral therapies. Promote a positive, energetic environment that encourages participant engagement, growth, and resilience. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field. Proven experience in group therapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral health settings, with a strong background in working with children, adolescents, and individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of mental health disorders, including PTSD, addiction, grief, and gender issues, with the ability to deliver specialized interventions. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards, including HIPAA compliance. Experience with crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging, motivational, and culturally sensitive group sessions. Telehealth experience and comfort with remote service delivery platforms. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care across various settings. Certification or training in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, or applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
