Job Summary:
We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation for a premier client account . This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who combines a passion for exceptional food and hospitality with strong business and people leadership. The ideal candidate will inspire and develop a high-performing team, drive culinary excellence and innovation, and confidently manage the operational and financial aspects of the business while consistently exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving Sets clear expectations, develops the team, and holds people accountable Delivers consistent food quality, presentation, and menu creativity Manages food cost, labor, waste, and purchasing while meeting the client's expectations Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products Possesses a passion for sustainability
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have a working knowledge of HACCP At least 5 years of culinary management experience in high-volume contract food service, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a culinary team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and holding team members accountable for performance. Demonstrated commitment to delivering consistently high-quality food, exceptional presentation, and creative, innovative menus that elevate the overall dining experience. Strong understanding of food service operations and financial performance, with the ability to effectively manage food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and waste while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
