We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to help launch and assist in leading the day-to-day operation of this exciting new property opening Q4 2026! We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on Assistant General Manager who leads by example, builds strong, high-performing teams, and creates memorable guest experiences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach and support hotel team to effectively manage occupancy and rates, labor and controllable expenses Manage costs within the hotel, including supplies, utilities, and labor expenses, within budgeted parameters, combining with sales/revenue to deliver an efficient and profitable operation Analyze any service issues and identify trends. Facilities the development of creative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure implementation to continually improve guest satisfaction results Ensure property is a safe and secure facility for guests and associates
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to schedule, train, discipline and direct associates Prior experience with P&L accountability Must possess clear and definable communication standards including written, speech, and verbal communication Maintain high employee morale, promote staff enthusiasm and teamwork, minimize turnover, assist employees with concerns and support staff in their job functions Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor even during periods of crisis or uncertainty Excellent people management skills, including resolving conflict, coaching and developing, promoting teamwork, and performance management Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the operation to include frequent second shifts, nights, weekends and holidays to observe and assist with successful operations in all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage)
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3+ years related hospitality management experience required, preferably in a hotel environment 4+ years of overall hospitality/hotel industry experience required 4-year college degree, preferred ServeSafe certification and TIPS trained, preferred CPR/AED certified, preferred OTHER Performs all other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
