Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dining Manager to lead our food and beverage operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of dining services, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire culinary excellence, streamline food service management, and foster a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire food service team, including kitchen staff, servers, and support personnel, to deliver outstanding dining experiences. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality, taste, and visual appeal. Expected to cook on the line 3x a week. Implement and maintain sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee food safety and cleanliness. Develop menus that balance creativity with operational efficiency while controlling costs and managing inventory. Supervise daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staffing schedules, and customer service delivery. Monitor financial operations such as budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to optimize profitability. Ensure adherence to food handling safety standards and proper use of POS (Point of Sale) systems for smooth transactions. Foster a positive team environment by providing mentorship, conducting staff supervision, and promoting professional development. Coordinate catering events or banquet services as needed to expand hospitality offerings. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest feedback promptly and effectively. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management with a strong background in culinary arts or kitchen operations. Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation processes, and food industry best practices. Expected to cook on the line 3x a week. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with sanitation procedures, food safety regulations (such as HACCP), and proper food handling practices. Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities including shift management, cost control, and staff supervision simultaneously. Strong understanding of POS systems and financial operations within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Experience in catering or banquet services is preferred but not required. Hospitality management background with a passion for culinary excellence and team development is highly desirable.
