JOB SUMMARY
: As F&B Manager you will oversee the daily operations for the Food and Beverage department of MetroLagoons. The goal is to ensure aspects of the Food and Beverage department run smoothly and complies with safety regulations. Responsible for overseeing food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary and management experience. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and organizational abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to lead a team; promote and ensure great hospitality Assist Food and Beverage Assistant General Manager, other management team members, and the support staff Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, sanitation of food products Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner Manage kitchen operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner Demonstrate responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing food products, an inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products and proper par levels Understand all kitchen equipment operations and preventive maintenance Stay complaint with food labor and sanitation laws Other duties and responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or equivalent (required) Maintain ServSafe and Food Handling Management Certification Experience in managing food and beverage service is preferred Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable Excellent communication skills Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends. (Flexible schedule hours will vary) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. All candidates must pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment
