Job Overview We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume carryout and delivery pizza restaurant. The store has a skilled team and needs a manager who can provide clear direction, maintain standards, and help grow sales and profitability. This is a hands-on position. The General Manager must be able to perform all store operations, lead the team during busy periods, and take ownership of the store's day-to-day performance. The owner is mostly hands-off and is looking for someone who can run the restaurant with confidence. Compensation and schedule Base salary of $1,200 per week for a minimum of 50 hours per week Bonuses paid every two weeks based on sales, labor costs, and food costs Two days off per week; the General Manager is responsible for arranging reliable coverage One week of paid vacation, with one additional day added for each year of employment, up to two weeks total Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Responsibilities Create weekly schedules that meet staffing needs and labor cost goals Place the weekly food order and manage inventory Oversee daily operations and step into any store role when needed Maintain food quality, freshness, and consistent dough preparation Ensure customers receive quality products and service; resolve complaints and concerns Keep the store clean, organized, and well maintained Train, support, and hold employees accountable for completing their work to a high standard Address staff concerns and other issues as they arise Set a strong example through professionalism, reliability, and performance Identify ways to increase sales and improve profitability Reconcile cash drawers and daily sales, prepare deposits, and promptly investigate any discrepancies. Complete other management duties as needed Physical Demand This is an active, hands-on restaurant position. The General Manager must be comfortable standing and moving throughout long shifts, working through busy periods, preparing food, cleaning, and handling several priorities at once.
