Job Description

We are currently looking for a Food Service Director (FSD) / Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). This employee will manage the food service program, provide leadership and support. They will provide guidance to ensure that food quality standards, customer service and quality dining services are met. They will work together to prepare and follow approved menus and be responsible for ordering, par levels and the budget. The Food Service Director (FSD) / Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is responsible for overseeing the staff and for scheduling the dietary staff. Essential Qualifications:
College degree in a related field or extensive experience in a related field. Must have Valid
CDM, FSD, CFPM
certification. Sensitivity to senior adults and their needs. Minimum of 1-2 years management or leadership experience. Computer literacy required. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and effectively manage and balance resident needs and departmental needs. Ability to motivate residents and other staff. Ability to perform responsibilities within budgetary requirements and remain a good steward of resources. Creativity, innovation, and the ability to be flexible. Ability to understand and assure compliance with applicable licensure standards. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent guest relations skills.
