Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Manager to lead our team at our Lagrange-Lafyette Parkway location. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality, and safety standards are maintained. As a key leader on the floor, you will manage staff, coordinate food preparation and service, and uphold operational excellence to deliver a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, including food preparation, cooking, and customer service delivery. Lead and motivate staff by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and teamwork. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Oversee inventory control processes to maintain stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure food safety compliance. Ensure food safety standards are met through proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction and foster repeat business. Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and operational planning to optimize restaurant performance. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Experience in supervising teams within casual dining or fine dining environments; hospitality management background preferred. Demonstrated ability in staff training, interviewing potential team members, and developing talent within the food industry. Strong understanding of food safety management practices, inventory control, and food production processes. Previous experience managing hospitality teams with skills in leadership, team management, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, catering operations, bar experience, or hotel industry experience is advantageous.
