The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and supervise employees effectively while maintaining high standards of food management and service. Duties Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Supervise and train staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Manage customer service interactions, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for the bar, coffee station, and catering services. Enforce health and safety regulations within the establishment, promoting a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. Prepare reports on shift performance, including sales data, staffing needs, and customer feedback for management review. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in casual dining or hotel settings. Strong knowledge of food management practices and customer service excellence. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience with coffee preparation or bar management is a plus. A passion for providing outstanding service in all aspects of the dining experience.
