Full job description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our Mellow management team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operations of the store, lead and motivate staff members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold operational excellence. Your energetic leadership will drive sales growth, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive restaurant experience. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth functioning. Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve an experience worth money then the money they spend/ Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance and product knowledge. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all visitors. Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to build a skilled and motivated team aligned with Mellow standards. Manage POS systems, cash handling procedures. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within the restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory management, stock replenishment, and operational procedures. Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development initiatives. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and organizational acumen for shift management. Previous experience in restaurant and hospitality environments is mandatory.
