Overview Join our vibrant team as a Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager, where your leadership and passion for hospitality will elevate the guest experience at our premier golf facility. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations of the pro shop, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your expertise in event management, operational oversight, and team supervision will drive the success of our golf operations while fostering a welcoming environment for members and visitors alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your management skills with your love of golf and hospitality. Duties Lead and supervise pro shop staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure high standards of service. Oversee daily shop operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and sales transactions using technical proficiency with point-of-sale systems. Coordinate and manage golf events, tournaments, and special functions to enhance member engagement and community involvement. Deliver outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. Assist in operational management tasks such as budgeting, report writing, and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency. Supervise shift management to ensure smooth daily functioning of the shop and related facilities during peak hours. Collaborate with resort or venue teams to support hospitality services, including restaurant or event venue coordination when applicable. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a golf shop or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in event management, including planning and executing tournaments or large gatherings. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing, scheduling, and operational documentation. Knowledge of operational management principles such as budgeting, cash handling, and shift coordination. Previous experience in resort or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Technical proficiency with point-of-sale systems and other relevant software tools. Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; hospitality or resort experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to make managerial decisions confidently while maintaining clear communication with team members.
