The Restaurant Manager will lead team members, maintain service standards, coordinate daily operations, and help ensure efficient and professional restaurant performance. The ideal candidate has previous restaurant management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities Lead, supervise, and support restaurant team members Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality Train and coach team members on restaurant procedures and service standards Assist with staff scheduling, shift assignments, and coverage Monitor front-of-house and back-of-house operations during service Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional manner Coordinate communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures Monitor food, beverage, and restaurant supply inventory Assist with ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant Support POS operations, cash handling, and daily sales procedures Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company policies Help manage operational issues and employee concerns Support special events and high-volume service periods Communicate operational needs and updates to senior management Perform additional management duties as assigned Requirements Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to train, motivate, and support restaurant team members Excellent guest-service and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory procedures Strong attention to detail and professionalism Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a management team Benefits Competitive salary Flexible scheduling options Paid training and professional development Employee meal or discount opportunities may be available Paid time off for eligible employees Health and wellness benefits may be available Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive and team-oriented work environment About the Company i-naba Honolulu is focused on providing quality food, friendly hospitality, and an inviting restaurant experience.
