Job Description

Kitchen Manager We're looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our food department inside a busy convenience store. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on keeping daily food production organized, maintaining the highest food-safety standards, developing the team, and helping us continually improve our hot and cold grab-and-go offerings. You'll be responsible for making sure the kitchen runs smoothly every day—from scheduling and training employees to maintaining cleanliness, food quality, consistency, and presentation. What You'll Do Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production for our hot and cold grab-and-go selections. Lead, schedule, train, and coach kitchen employees to build a reliable, motivated team. Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and food-handling standards. Ensure products are prepared consistently, attractively, and on schedule. Monitor inventory, ordering, product availability, and food waste. Identify opportunities to improve our existing menu and develop new hot and cold food options. Establish and maintain efficient kitchen procedures and production standards. Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for daily production. What You Bring Experience managing a kitchen, food department, deli, prepared-food operation, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices. Proven ability to lead, schedule, train, and hold employees accountable. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. A passion for food quality and an eye for consistency, presentation, and freshness. Experience with inventory, ordering, portion control, and waste reduction. Creativity and enthusiasm for improving food offerings and developing new products. Strong communication skills and a positive, hands-on leadership style. Why This Role? We're looking for someone who can bring structure to the kitchen, build a strong team, maintain excellent food-safety standards, and help us take our grab-and-go food program to the next level. If you're a hands-on food leader who enjoys improving systems, developing people, and creating food customers want to come back for, we'd love to hear from you.
