Roy Lambrecht Woodworking provides services from design and material selection through fabrication, focusing on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cabinet Maker role based in Kailua-Kona, HI. The Cabinet Maker will build custom cabinets and furniture from drawings and specifications, including cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood components. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting shop drawings, selecting and preparing lumber, operating woodworking equipment and hand tools, and ensuring precise measurements and high-quality joinery. The role involves collaborating with designers and other team members, as well as maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop. The Cabinet Maker is expected to follow company quality standards, adhere to safety procedures, and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Strong cabinetry and woodworking skills, including cabinet construction, joinery, and finishing. Experience with millwork and carpentry, including operation of common shop machinery and hand tools. Ability in spatial design and layout, including reading plans, shop drawings, and measuring accurately. Knowledge of working with solid wood and plywood, preferably with experience in specialty or hardwood species. Attention to detail, commitment to craftsmanship, and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work. Ability to lift and move materials and products as required and to stand for extended periods in a workshop environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with reliability and professional conduct. Prior experience in a custom cabinet or millwork shop preferred; relevant vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.
