Down to Earth Organic & Natural has an opening for a Relief Deli Manager position in our Deli department at Oahu stores. This candidate will need to be show a willingness to learn and support and promote a healthy lifestyle is essential. The Deli Relief Manager will need to work at locations by one of the regions as needed: Honolulu

• King St & Kakaako West
• Pearlridge & Kapolei
• Immedidate opening Windward
• Kailua You will also be responsible for helping oversee, manage, and direct the Deli team members, and helping to develop and improve the Kahului Deli, and providing quality food service to customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required 1. At least two years of experience in food service, with two years in a previous supervisory or management position, preferably running a restaurant or deli. 2. NRA Safe Serve certified or willing to attain within one year of being in the position. 3. Knowledge of sanitary food handling and preparation techniques. 4. Supervisory experience

• hiring, training, evaluating, directing, motivating.

5. Knowledge of products and trends in the natural foods and conventional foodservice industry. 6. Ability to read and analyze financial statements. 7. Ability to handle multiple demands and follow through on commitments. 8. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of stakeholders including team members, suppliers, customers, and management. 9. Friendly, courteous manner in dealing with a variety of situations and personalities. 10. Bachelor's degree preferred.
