Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team! In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and drive profitability while creating a welcoming environment for guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift management. Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold food safety standards. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality consistency. Utilize Square POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies. Train new team members on food handling, safety procedures, POS operation, and customer service excellence. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols. Support kitchen management by supervising food production. Experience Proven experience in quick service or restaurant environments with a strong background customer service. Bartending and Serving experience. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry Familiarity with Square POS is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster team development. Knowledge of food safety management practices Excellent communication skills This job does require night and weekend availability!
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
