We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Truck Manager to oversee daily operations of our mobile culinary enterprise. As a Food Truck Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment that delights customers and supports team growth. Duties Lead the overall operation of the food truck, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quick and efficient service. Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain profitability. Operate POS systems such as Square and Clover for accurate cash handling and sales processing. Supervise staff by providing training on food safety, customer service, food handling, and operational procedures; conduct staff scheduling and shift management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Oversee food production processes, including catering events or special menus like banquets or casual dining offerings. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance overall customer experience. Manage budgeting responsibilities including cost control, sales tracking, and financial reporting for the mobile operation. Interview potential team members to build a skilled, motivated workforce aligned with company standards. Coordinate with vendors for sourcing quality ingredients and supplies necessary for daily operations. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within fast-paced environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants. Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling. Strong knowledge of inventory control practices to optimize stock levels while reducing waste. Proven leadership skills in supervising staff, training team members, and fostering a positive work environment. Exceptional customer service abilities coupled with effective communication skills. Experience in managing food safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ability to handle shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and speed of service. Background in hospitality management or restaurant management with a focus on food industry best practices. Skills in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis relevant to mobile food operations. Prior experience in catering or event-based food service is a plus; familiarity with casual dining or hotel food services is advantageous.
