Your mission is to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive financial performance, develop top-tier talent, and ensure flawless daily operations. You'll serve as the store's cultural and strategic leader, implementing company initiatives and building a high-performing team that thrives in a positive, wellness-driven environment. We are quickly expanding in the Central IA region and will have 2-3 locations coming soon. Overview Stack Wellness Cafe is on a mission to make healthy eating radically accessible. Founded by Joshua Polansky after his own health transformation through macro tracking, Stack was born out of a clear need: more affordable, high-quality options for everyday health. Stack combines passion, performance, and purpose to reshape the future of food. What you'll be doing? Leadership & Culture Lead by example, embodying Stack's values of simplicity, health, and positivity. Foster a respectful, inclusive, and accountable work environment. Coach and mentor Shift Leads and team members to ensure personal growth and team performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide real-time feedback. Guest Experience Ensure all guests receive a consistently excellent dining experience. Implement the "Four Points of Contact" model to drive high-touch service. Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and empathy. Promote a service-first culture that drives repeat business and community engagement. Operational Excellence Oversee day-to-day store operations including food safety, cleanliness, and opening/closing procedures. Maintain quality control standards set by the Head of Culinary Operations. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Ensure health code compliance and adherence to company policies. Financial & Inventory Management Manage and track store-level P&L, labor costs, and operating expenses. Control inventory levels and place accurate orders to reduce waste and optimize food cost. Identify areas for cost savings and improved efficiency. Analyze performance data and use insights to improve margins and productivity. People Operations Hire, onboard, and train new team members. Create and manage staff schedules in alignment with sales forecasts and labor targets. Address employee conflicts promptly and professionally. Implement systems to drive accountability, retention, and team engagement. Marketing & Business Growth Execute store-level marketing campaigns and promotions. Build relationships with local community organizations and drive brand awareness. Collaborate with the corporate team to implement growth strategies and trial new initiatives. Who we're looking for? 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a fast-casual or QSR environment Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize store-level P&L Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic financial reporting Passion for health, wellness, and creating positive experiences for both staff and guests
