General Manager The General Manager at Wylder Hospitality Group oversees the operation of the entire restaurant and market: financial, personnel, guest service, food and beverage quality, retailing, safety, and leadership development. In order to be successful in these responsibilities, the General Manager must love the restaurant and retail industries, exude the core values, and lead with heart and humor.
Requirements:
Love the restaurant industry Assist first-line managers to achieve their goals Ensure that all teams within a unit are functioning well Identify & Develop Future leaders Partnership with Office Manager and first-line managers in maintaining staffing levels through: Job Postings & Recruitment, New Hire Orientation, and Performance Evaluations Develop and maintain a fun and professional work environment Develop and maintain standards of service, food and beverage Develop and maintain educational programs for staff Hold regular leadership meetings Manage financials and budgets of the restaurant: Labor Cost, Food Cost, Beverage Costs, and Expenses Be a presence on the floor of the restaurant: Greetings, table checks, table greets, bussing, running food, expediting food and drinks, supporting the staff, and maintaining an upbeat floor energy Quickly and professionally respond to all guest inquiries and complaints Support Kitchen Leadership & Team Oversee and maintain safety and sanitation standards including health inspection high scores Literacy in Computers and Basic Math Strong skills of observation Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills Exceptional follow-through skills Great oral and written communication Perks Great Pay Including Quarterly Bonuses Health Benefits Growth Opportunities Employee Assistance Program - Free & Confidential Mental Health Services and Free Legal & Financial Consultations
