Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, manage staff training and development, and foster a welcoming environment for both guests and team members. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving restaurant success, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating a positive team culture. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and maintain quality standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous standards for food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness across all areas of the restaurant. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand while controlling labor costs. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist with budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and financial reporting to support the restaurant's profitability goals. Implement best practices in food production, catering services, bar operations, and banquet events to diversify revenue streams. Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with our service standards. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Demonstrated expertise in food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and kitchen management. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on training & development. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations; previous roles involving food handling or food management are highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment. Prior experience managing budgets, inventory control processes, and shift scheduling effectively. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities. Additional experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus; certifications related to hospitality management or culinary arts are advantageous.
