Cary, IL 847-474-WILD (9453) TacticalWildlife.com Field-to-Office Manager Tactical Wildlife Control is a family-owned wildlife removal, exclusion, and pest control company serving the northwest Chicago suburbs, Southern Wisconsin, and Central IL. We take a humane-first, structural-first approach — licensed by Illinois DNR, certified under the Illinois Structural Pest Control Act, and a member of NWCOA. We hold ourselves to a standard well above the industry norm, and it shows in the quality of our work and our reputation. The Role This is a hybrid field-to-office manager position. You'll be in the field daily — leading projects and working alongside our technicians — while also being fully engaged in the backend of the business from a management standpoint. You'll work closely with the owner and office administrator on all backend operations, then take that information and put it into practice in the field. This is intentionally a field position for up to one year. Within that year, you're expected to have trained or hired a field supervisor to take over daily truck work, clearing your path into a full-time general management role. What You'll Do Lead field projects daily, working hands-on alongside technicians on wildlife removal, exclusion, and pest control jobs. Partner with the owner and office administrator on backend operations — scheduling, quality control, process, hiring, and day-to-day management decisions. Translate backend/office decisions into practical execution in the field. Set and enforce field quality standards consistent with our humane-first, structural-first brand. Identify, train, and/or hire a field supervisor over your first year to take over daily field leadership. Transition into a full-time general management role once your field supervisor is in place. What We're Looking For Prior experience in wildlife control, pest control, construction, or restoration contracting. Comfortable leading people in the field and holding a high bar for workmanship. Strong communicator who can move fluidly between office/admin work and hands-on field work. Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record. Valid IDNR Nuisance Wildlife Control Permit Class A and IDPH and/or IDOA applicable pest control licenses. Management or supervisory experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits $65k- $120k
