Company Overview Grand Bear Lodge and Resort Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dining operations. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, ensure outstanding customer service, manage staff, and maintain food safety standards. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Supervise all aspects of food and beverage service, including casual dining, catering, banquet events, and bar operations Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet culinary standards Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and manage food safety compliance in accordance with health regulations Conduct shift management duties including overseeing customer service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring smooth operations Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize revenue streams and reduce costs effectively Requirements Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated skills in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety management Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising hospitality teams and managing restaurant operations Ability to train staff on food preparation, customer service standards, and safety protocols Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict effectively Basic math skills for financial analysis and inventory management are required Join us as a Food and Beverage Manager to lead dynamic teams in delivering top-tier hospitality experiences.
