Abe's Place is a locally owned and operated restaurant known for its fresh ingredients, welcoming atmosphere, and good pizza. We take pride in offering excellent food and outstanding customer service in a warm, community-driven environment.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and support the owner and store manager in managing the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a reliable leader with experience in the restaurant industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service and great food.
Responsibilities:
Assist the owner and store manager in managing daily restaurant operations Supervise and train staff to maintain high service standards Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing a welcoming atmosphere Oversee inventory, ordering, and food cost management Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health & safety regulations Assist with scheduling and payroll management Support marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain customersa Handle cash management and financial reporting as needed
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required Ability to work 45-50 hours per week. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial management Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Passion for hospitality and customer service
Benefits:

Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
