We are seeking a Bar Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is committed to creating memorable experiences every night. Position Summary The Bar Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of Saffron's beverage program and bar operations while delivering exceptional hospitality. This position oversees beverage quality, inventory management, ordering, financial performance, team development, and daily execution of service standards. This individual is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment and takes pride in developing people, maintaining high standards, and continuously improving the guest experience. Primary Responsibilities

Beverage Program Leadership

Execute Saffron's cocktail, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage programs with consistency and precision.

Collaborate with ownership on seasonal beverage development and menu updates.

Source new products and maintain strong relationships with distributors and suppliers.

Ensure every beverage meets established quality and presentation standards. Bar Operations

Oversee all daily bar operations.

Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and service-ready.

Maintain cleanliness exceeding health department standards.

Execute opening and closing procedures consistently.

Maintain all bar equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary. Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard bartenders and bar support staff.

Train all team members to Saffron's hospitality and beverage standards.

Coach, mentor, and develop employees through regular feedback.

Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.

Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail. Guest Experience

Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and genuine hospitality.

Build lasting relationships with regular guests.

Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.

Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service.

Partner closely with the dining room and kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service. Financial Responsibilities Manage the beverage program with a strong focus on profitability while maintaining quality.

Create weekly schedules

Manage labor budgets

Approve payroll

Conduct performance reviews

Attend management meetings

Maintain training documentation

Complete daily management reports

Ensure compliance with all company policies Qualifications Required

Minimum three years of management experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant or cocktail bar

Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and service

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organizational abilities

Financial understanding of beverage cost controls

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

Fine dining management experience

WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, BarSmarts, or equivalent beverage education
