As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise deli staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor product quality and freshness
• Assist customers with their deli orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Handle cash handling responsibilities, including operating the POS system
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

• Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a deli or food service setting
• Strong knowledge of deli operations, including food preparation, portion control, and food safety protocols
• Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
